We ordered the beef fajitas las brasas medium and the was just right for my wife and I. Chips and salsa are an uncharge. Our server was very attentive and the manager came by and visited with us and that was a pleasant conversation. They have a full bar plus outdoor seating. Great food and service.

Dear La Playa, First of all… how dare you be this good and this empty at the same time? My husband and I had the pleasure of dining with you during a short work trip, and let me just say—the shrimp cocktail and ceviche on Sunday? Absolutely divine. Fresh, flavorful, giving everything it needed to give. And then we returned Tuesday night… because once is simply not enough. We came for drinks (margaritas to go? Iconic), found ourselves at the bar, and were blessed by the presence of Bella and Eddie. Bella? A whole vibe. Eddie? That michelada? Life-changing. We weren’t even there for food and still left impressed. Which brings me to my concern… WHERE is everybody? This place is huge. The food is good. The service is great. The energy is there. People are truly missing out, and frankly, it’s unsettling. Do better, Corpus Christi. La Playa deserves a full house. Warmest regards,A very satisfied (and slightly confused) guest

Went to eat here with my mother in law and husband. The food was horrible. The cóctel de camarón was super thick with ketchup and had almost no shrimp, just chile, tomate and cebolla. The tostadas de ceviche were horrible, they had frijoles, had no salt or lime. We had only asked for the tostadas and had to argue with them about charging us for a plate when we had specifically asked for just the tostadas. The plate was almost completely untouched. The Coca-Cola bottles were super dirty and looked expired. They were very rude about it and really expensive! Do not recommend. Also, my husband and mother in law speak only Spanish and they were super rude about it and would answer them in English or act like they didn’t understand them. But it’s a “Mexican” restaurant!

Went here because its across from the hotel that I'm staying at went on a slow day ( pretty empty). The area (for me) feels super cluttered there is alot with the decorations going on but still cute alot of room for families if you want to be outside or inside they also have a small upstairs too. Which is a plus! Server that helped me was super cool friendly. For me the food looks amazing! I ordered the bahia shrip platter. The jumbo shrimp cooked perfectly breaded ok flavor great. Nice portion for one person. For one person being 30$ is kinda of alot. Over all it was expensive,servers were amazing, the inside was a bit grunge but If you want some good Mexican food try this place I did not notice anything wrong with the place. Would go again 😌
